Padcev-Keytruda reimbursement talks stall, leaving bladder cancer patients paying out of pocket

21 July 2026 - National health insurance reimbursement for Padcev (enfortumab vedotin) and Keytruda (pembrolizumab), a first-line treatment for metastatic urothelial carcinoma, has been delayed as separate price negotiations with the two manufacturers remain unresolved.

Because reimbursement can take effect only after agreements are reached for both medicines, patients continue to shoulder the high cost of treatment.
