Paracetamol: supply issue
28 July 2020 - API Consumer Brands has advised PHARMAC that they continue to have a supply issue for Pharmacare paracetamol 500 mg tablets.
Pharmacare is the only contracted brand of funded paracetamol tablets.
PHARMAC has worked with the contracted supplier and other suppliers to secure more brands. Four new brands were added to the Pharmaceutical Schedule. They were in limited supply and have now been exhausted.
