9 March 2022 - NICE has published evidence based recommendations on the use of pegcetacoplan (Aspaveli) for the treatment of adults with paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria.

Pegcetacoplan is recommended as an option for the treatment of adults with paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria who have anaemia after at least three months of treatment with a C5 inhibitor. 

It is recommended only if Sobi provides pegcetacoplan according to the commercial arrangement.
