Pfizer and BioNTech to supply the European Union with up to 1.8 billion additional doses of Comirnaty

20 May 2021 - New agreement to supply 900 million doses to the European Commission, with option to request up to an additional 900 million doses.

Pfizer and BioNTech today announced a new agreement with the European Commission to supply 900 million doses of Comirnaty the companies’ COVID-19 vaccine, to the European Union, with an option for the European Commission to request up to an additional 900 million doses.

This new agreement is in addition to the 600 million doses that have already been committed to the European Union through 2021.
