Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine Comirnaty receives full U.S. FDA approval for individuals 16 years and older
23 August 2021 - Comirnaty is the first COVID-19 vaccine to be granted FDA approval.
Pfizer and BioNTech today announced that the U.S. FDA approved the biologics license application for Comirnaty (COVID-19 Vaccine, mRNA) to prevent COVID-19 in individuals 16 years of age and older.
