PHARMAC and Diabetes Foundation Aotearoa locked in stand-off over drug funding decision

17 November 2020 - The Diabetes Foundation Aotearoa is calling on drug funding agency PHARMAC to release the submissions it received over plans to fund two new drugs to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus.

But the Government agency is refusing to release the documents under the Official Information Act. 

PHARMAC is also remaining tight lipped about when it plans to make a decision on funding the drugs.
