PHARMAC updates its funding applications list
3 August 2016 - PHARMAC has published the funding applications received for PTAC for 2016.
PHARMAC notes that it is a list of the applications received and does not reflect the final agenda of any PTAC meeting.
Whilst PHARMAC has allocated the applications to a given PTAC meeting, an examination of the PTAC minutes for the February and May 2016 meetings shows that many of the applications were not considered by the PTAC at the allocated meeting.
PHARMAC received an application from BMS for nivolumab (Opdivo) on 10 February 2016; nivolumab was one of the three new medicines recommended by the PTAC in May.
