1 September 2023 - The Pharmacy Guild of Australia has agreed to suspend its campaign against 60 day dispensing after the Albanese Government agreed to minimise the impact of the new policy on community pharmacies through the eight Community Pharmacy Agreement.

The pharmacy sector said the Albanese Government had committed to enter negotiations over an early pharmacy agreement beginning 1 March 2024, and was hopeful it would strike a deal for increased funding for dispensing services.
