Quebec announces intention to implement a biosimilar switching policy
18 May 2021 - Biosimilars Canada today congratulated the Government of Quebec and Minister of Health and Social Services Christian Dubé for announcing the province's intention to implement a biosimilar switching policy under its public prescription drug insurance plan.
The expanded use of biosimilars in Quebec is expected to generate annual savings of $100 million as of 2022.
