Report clearly demonstrates the value of vaccines
1 November 2019 - Medicines Australia welcomes today’s report from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare which verifies the immense benefit that vaccines provide to the community through avoiding, or reducing, ill health from vaccine preventable diseases.
The report found that ill health caused by vaccine preventable diseases fell by 31% from 2005 to 2015 due to the National Immunisation Program.
The impact of vaccines can clearly be seen, as new vaccines are introduced.
