5 June 2023 - Washington isn't waiting to see if newly approved drugs cut costs.

The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions held a hearing last week about high prices for prescription drugs — specifically, insulin. It’s expected that they’ll roll an insulin price cap into a big health care bill and many Republicans will help Democrats pass it, thereby bringing the country one big step closer to socialised medicine.
