Revised PBS restrictions for ezetimibe & ezetimibe-statin effective 1 October 2018
28 September 2018 - As a result of the post-market review of ezetimibe, revised PBS restrictions for ezetimibe and ezetimibe-statin products will be effective 1 October 2018.
While the medicine will remain Authority (Streamlined) items with the same PBS item codes, the current streamlined codes will change. This will only effect PBS prescriptions written on or after 1 October 2018.
Prescriptions written prior to 1 October 2018 will be valid for the lifetime of the prescription.
