Sanofi’s venglustat accepted for priority review in the US to treat type 3 Gaucher disease
28 May 2026 - The US FDA has granted priority review to the new drug application for venglustat, a novel, investigational oral glucosylceramide synthase inhibitor, for the treatment of type 3 Gaucher disease, a rare lysosomal storage disorder.
The target action date for the FDA decision is 25 November 2026.
