Sifi receives European Commission approval for Akantior
26 August 2024 - Akantior (polihexanide) is the first and only approved drug for the treatment of acanthamoeba keratitis.
Sifi today announced the European Commission has approved Akantior (polihexanide) for the treatment of acanthamoeba keratitis in adults and children from 12 years of age, confirming the orphan status of the product.
