Students join push for lifesaving drug after young siblings both diagnosed with cystic fibrosis

20 May 2018 - For Liam, 10, and sister Grace, 9, writing a letter to Health Minister Greg Hunt was a big deal.

The siblings have both been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and, along with their school friends, are rallying to fight for access to a lifesaving drug.

With one baby born with the condition every four days, parents Kirsty and Stephen Bowness are desperately seeking for the much-need drug, Orkambi, to be covered by the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.
