1 May 2016 - The agenda for the next meeting suggests a reduced workload for the committee this evaluation cycle.
The PBAC will consider just 47 submissions at its next scheduled meeting in July down from 69 in November 2015 and 67 in March 2016. This is the lowest number of submissions listed in a PBAC agenda since the July 2012 meeting (39 submissions).
The number of major submissions is also down; 21 compared with 34 for the November 2015 meeting and 32 for the March 2016 meeting.
It will be interesting to see whether this downturn continues.
MAESTrO Daily will present further findings and insights from tha agenda for the 2016/2 PBAC meeting in the coming issues.
