Subsidised access to new melanoma drugs: in need of further innovation?

19 August 2016 - New Zealand is now the melanoma capital of the world but is behind the rest of the world in funding new effective treatments.

Auckland-based oncologist Rosalie Fisher and I have published a paper in today's issue of the New Zealand Medical Journal that examines the new treatments for patients with malignant melanoma and compares their subsidised access in New Zealand with Australia and England.
