13 April 2026 - Brave South Australian teenager Mia McCarthy feels she’s one of “the lucky ones”, despite living with a debilitating and little-known illness.

The Naracoorte High School year 12 student was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome in 2024 and is now lobbying for help for others with the condition which significantly affects more women than men.
