TGA and PBAC parallel process now available for vaccines
26 September 2017 - Vaccines that meet certain requirements are now eligible to be submitted under the TGA and PBAC parallel process arrangements.
This arrangement will be available for major submissions to the March 2018 PBAC meeting (November 2017 major submission deadline) onwards. A Fact sheet with further information is now available.
The 'Procedure guidance for listing medicines on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (including consideration of vaccines for the National Immunisation Program)' has also been updated to include revised parallel process guidance at 6.3 and updated Department of Health Branch and Division names.
