17 June 2016 - The TGA has published an AusPAR for Octapharma's Nuwiq (simoctocog alfa).

Nuwig was approved by the TGA on 11 November 2014 for the treatment and prophylaxis of bleeding (also during and after surgery) in previously treated paediatric (≥ 2 years) and adult patients with haemophilia A (congenital FVIII deficiency).

It is hard to fathom why it has taken more than 18 months for an AusPAR to be published for this blood product.
