The EQ-HWB: overview of the development of a measure of health and wellbeing and key results
8 April 2022 - This article presents an overview of the international development of a new generic measure, the EQ Health and Wellbeing (EQ-HWB) and a short version of the EQ-HWB using qualitative evidence from service users (health and care services) and carers, along with psychometric evidence, collected in 6 countries.
The EQ-HWB is designed for evaluating interventions in health care, public health, and social care with the intention that it can be used to estimate quality adjusted life years to inform decision making both within and between these sectors.
