16 March 2020 - TLV starts two different re-examination of subsidy restrictions for certain drugs and drug groups with the aim of making the restrictions more effective.
A drug has a so-called limited subsidy if it is only included in the high-cost protection for a specific area of use or a specific patient group.
The one review that TLV is now starting is evaluating whether the subsidy restrictions for certain drug groups should remain because the price has dropped sharply as a result of so-called generic competition.
