7 February 2022 - The purpose of this study was to systematically review the process for topic selection by health technology assessment agencies around the world to provide the knowledge base for the improvement of topic selection frameworks in health technology assessment agencies.

Out of forty nine nonprofit members of INAHTA, a total of seventeen health technology assessment agencies with a framework for topic selection were identified from twenty-two included papers/documents.
