US FDA approves world’s first rapid Covid test from Brisbane’s Ellume

16 March 2020 - The US FDA has approved the world’s first rapid at home COVID-19 test, developed by Brisbane-based biotech Ellume.

The company, which has spent the past decade developing its rapid diagnostics, will send more than 100,000 of its tests to the US from the start of next month, and is on track to deliver more than five million a month to America by March.
