U.S. Justice Department subpoenas Taro over generic medicine pricing
11 September 2016 - The subpoena is part of a federal government antitrust investigation into the prices of generic medicines.
Taro Pharmaceutical Industries and two of its senior officers received grand jury subpoenas last week in connection with an antitrust investigation into generic drug pricing, the company disclosed.
The Israeli company said late last week that it has received subpoenas from the U.S. Justice Department’s Antitrust Division.
