3 June 2022 - The importance of patient and public involvement is recognised by agencies involved in health technology assessment and guideline development. However, a comprehensive overview of the underlying patient and public involvement principles, values, strategies, and frameworks is lacking. 

This scoping review aimed to summarise the available evidence on principles, values, frameworks, and strategies underpinning patient and public involvement carried out by agencies involved in health technology assessment and guideline development.
