Vyloy, Fintepla and Rybrevant move closer to reimbursement after passing HIRA review

5 June 2026 - Several new therapies for serious and rare diseases have moved a step closer to receiving national health insurance coverage in Korea after being deemed cost effective for reimbursement.

On Thursday, the HIRA convened its PREC to assess coverage eligibility for several therapies, including Vyloy from Astellas Pharma Korea for gastric cancer, Fintepla from UCB Korea for Dravet syndrome, and Rybrevant from Janssen Korea for lung cancer.
