Weak krona exchange rates result in lower drug prices
3 February 2022 - The price of medicines in Sweden has fallen compared with other countries and is among the lowest in Europe. The main explanation for this is that Sweden's krona remains weak.
This is shown by the international price comparison report that the Swedish Dental and Pharmaceutical Benefits Agency produces annually. The report compares the prices of medicines in 19 European countries.
