10 May 2017 - Skye Baker knows meningococcal disease does not discriminate. Four years ago, she watched her seven-year-old daughter Sarah battle the deadly meningococcal B strain, hovering between life and death for days before being one of the lucky ones to survive relatively unscathed.
Sarah now has hard won immunity, and Mrs Baker wants to make sure her other daughter Ally, 12, is vaccinated against the B strain, but a continued shortage of the vaccine Bexsero means she can’t get it.
