8 December 2017 - A consumer session was held with patients with PAH and their carers during the PHAA Members Carers Day of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association Australia on 14 October 2017 to provide further opportunity for consumers to contribute to the Review.

Consumers voiced concerns about the confusion amongst some specialists on how to access medicines and noted varying degrees of knowledge amongst specialists across Australia. Consumers noted that a personal background in health helps to manoeuvre the system.
