Epilepsy drug deaths: Coronial inquiry into medication-linked deaths resumes

22 February 2021 - A coronial inquiry into the deaths of six patients whose epilepsy medication was changed before they died has resumed.

On Monday at Auckland District Court, Chief Coroner Deborah Marshall opened the second part of the inquiry into the deaths of six New Zealanders who died while taking Logem, a generic form of the anti-convulsant drug lamotrigine.
