FDA approves first treatment for children with Menkes disease
12 January 2026 - The US FDA today approved the Zycubo (copper histidinate) injection as the first treatment for Menkes disease in paediatric patients.
The FDA evaluated Zycubo in two open-label, single-arm clinical trials in paediatric patients treated for up to three years.
