Health Minister Hunt to discuss bolstering My Health privacy with medicos

26 July 2018 - Greg Hunt will consider strengthening privacy provisions for the My Health Record scheme at the urging of medical practitioners.

Mr Hunt met with the Australian Medical Association and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners earlier this week, and today revealed he had agreed to meet with them next week and “work through their concerns”.

RACGP president elect Harry Nespolon this afternoon revealed he has this week opted out of the My health Record, telling News Corp My Health Record “should be about my health and is not for government agencies or police”.
