Improving access to medicines and devices in primary care in New Zealand

PHARMAC

18 September 2015 - To support the health system focus on ‘care closer to home’, PHARMAC is looking at the way some funded community medicines and devices are accessed. PHARMAC is thinking about how the current system works and how it may change in the future.

PHARMAC is seeking feedback from interested parties on the issues raised in this discussion paper on the current and potential future purchasing, funding and distribution arrangements for vaccines.

Throughout its document PHARMAC has raised specific questions which they would appreciate your consideration of. Please do not limit yourselves to these questions; PHARMAC welcomes feedback on any issues, options and views you may have relating to the theme of this paper. PHARMAC has also provided a summary of these questions as an appendix.
