Pharmacists welcome medicine review update

21 April 2020 - Elderly people at risk of medicine-related harm will now have their treatments more regularly reviewed by pharmacists.

Patients have until now had their medication reviewed just once every two years.

Pharmacists will be given two additional follow-ups with patients within nine months of the initial review, under changes which took effect on Tuesday.
