Supply a factor in restricting COVID vaccines for babies and toddlers

3 August 2022 - Most parents of babies and toddlers will not be able to access a COVID vaccine approved for under-fives when the federal government rolls it out next month, in part because the supply of the paediatric doses is limited.

Health Minister Mark Butler announced on Wednesday that Moderna’s paediatric COVID vaccine would be made available from September only to 70,000 babies and toddlers with serious health conditions from COVID.
